Luxury private jets are often talked about, but little is known about high-end helicopters. The Airbus ACH160 is considered the most luxurious helicopter in the world, offering the best performance, comfort and quality for pilots and passengers.
Thanks to their unique capabilities, rotary-wings offer private and corporate clients ideal point-to-point transportation for business, tourism or simply leisure travel, reaching remote or otherwise inaccessible locations and foremost, adapting to each client’s lifestyle.
When it comes to the perfect aircraft that meets the requirements of power and comfort, the ACH160 is the ultimate choice, and with 68 patents it has set a milestone in history, becoming the most technologically advanced helicopter in the world.

It was formally launched at Heli-Expo in Orlando, Florida, on 3 March 2015, as the worthy successor to the successful Dauphin family that the market had been waiting for. It provides customers with the highest level of comfort and safety, and features the latest Helionix cabin, equipped with the world’s first ground-assisted take-off procedure in the world.

Designed with safety in mind, it is simple and intuitive, reducing pilot workload and the risk of human error, for a safe take-off and a perfect flight for family and guests. It incorporates a simplified pre-flight check and an automatic start-up procedure that takes less than two minutes, making it very easy to fly and maintain.
Safety is also enhanced with the integration of the first computerised helicopter flight manual (C-RFM), which provides the crew with essential information on aircraft performance according to the conditions of the day, optional equipment and desired flight profile.
The new 1,280 hp Turbomeca Arrano engine enables 15% fuel savings, lower maintenance costs and a faster cruise speed, making it economically competitive with other twin-engine helicopters. And, thanks to the Blue Edge main rotor blades, it offers a super comfortable flight with less interior sound, making it the cleanest and quietest of the helicopters, and allowing customers to take a step towards reducing their environmental footprint.
With a range of four and a half hours, a range of more than 778 kilometres and a reserve of 20 minutes, the Fenestron has a higher payload, with a maximum take-off weight of 6,050 kilograms.
HIGH STANDARDS
Ultra-modern, fast and agile, with a stylistically demanding design and the highest levels of comfort, beyond the technical details, it is undoubtedly the interior of this luxurious helicopter that stands out.
Considered one of the most luxurious helicopters in the world, the ACH160 family is designed in three versions (Line, Line with Lounge package and Exclusive) to meet the different needs of this demanding market, with different levels of customisation, sophistication and exclusivity to suit each customer’s lifestyle.
With seating for up to 10 passengers, it features leather seats, wood trim and even storage compartments, with 35% larger windows than its competitors, resulting in the brightest cabin in its class and making its passengers feel at ease and enjoy the wonderful views.

All this luxury costs approximately US$ 15 million. However, the price can be quite variable due to the number of upgrades and the fully customisable interior, where every additional detail adds extra value to the price of the helicopter.
Its payload capacity, range and operational efficiency allow it to respond to a wide range of missions, such as maritime transport, emergency medical services, private and business aviation, as well as public services.

Recently, a historic moment for the Brazilian and Latin American aeronautical community took place when for the first time in history the Airbus A300-600ST, better known as “Beluga”, landed in the region, carrying cargo valued at US$ 16 million.
The aircraft with PS-AXM and BXM reserved registration for Helibras and a third ACH160 with PS-PCT registration for the holding company Romanof Ltda. will be presented at the region’s largest business aviation event, the Latin American Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (LABACE). These Lounge package sales consolidate Airbus Corporate Helicopters’ leadership in the premium helicopter market throughout Latin America.
In addition, the manufacturer offers high standards of availability and operational cost optimisation, associated with its light maintenance plan that aligns both the aircraft and its engine. The contract also includes a global support programme that includes technical service and spare parts assurance at the various FAGN bases and associated fleet services.
Known for its combination of versatility and comfort, the ACH helicopter range is appreciated by passengers and pilots alike for its stylish interiors, smooth and quiet ride and technologically advanced Helionix digital avionics systems, which ensure worry-free handling and a high level of safety.
Efficiency, performance, comfort and quality are among the many features of the new Airbus ACH160, a star in the bespoke helicopter market.
